At VELVET STUDIO, we are committed to delivering your orders safely, securely, and efficiently across India. Please read this Shipping & Delivery Policy carefully before placing an order on our website.

1. Delivery Area

VELVET STUDIO ships products across India. Orders can be placed from serviceable pin codes within India, subject to courier availability.

2. Shipping Charges

We currently offer free shipping on orders placed through our website.

At present, we do not offer a separate paid shipping option unless specifically mentioned at checkout or during a special case.

3. Order Processing & Dispatch Time

Once your order is successfully placed and confirmed, we begin processing it for dispatch.

Our average dispatch time is 5–7 days from the date of order confirmation.

Dispatch may take longer during festivals, sale periods, high order volume, stock movement, payment verification, courier delays, or other operational circumstances.

4. Delivery Timeline

After the order is dispatched, the final delivery time depends on the customer’s location, courier partner, pin code serviceability, and logistics movement.

Delivery timelines may vary for different cities, towns, remote areas, or non-metro locations.

VELVET STUDIO will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery; however, delivery may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, courier delays, strikes, festivals, public holidays, transport issues, or natural calamities.

5. Courier Partners

We use Ship rocket as our shipping platform and ship orders through multiple courier partners across India.

Our courier partners may include:

  • Blue Dart
  • India Post
  • Ship rocket partner couriers
  • Other major courier partners available in India

The courier partner for each order is selected based on serviceability, delivery location, and operational availability.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, tracking details may be shared with you through email, SMS, WhatsApp, or your order page on the website.

Customers are requested to track their shipment and remain available at the delivery address provided at the time of order placement.

7. Cash on Delivery Orders

Cash on Delivery is available on eligible orders and serviceable pin codes.

For Cash on Delivery orders, VELVET STUDIO may verify the order before dispatch through phone call, WhatsApp, SMS, or any other communication method.

If the customer does not respond to order confirmation communication, VELVET STUDIO reserves the right to hold or cancel the order.

8. Incorrect Address or Contact Details

Customers are responsible for providing the correct and complete delivery address, phone number, email address, and pin code while placing the order.

VELVET STUDIO will not be responsible for delivery failure or delay caused due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Incomplete address
  • Wrong pin code
  • Wrong phone number
  • Customer unavailable at delivery location
  • Locked premises
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Courier serviceability issues

If an order is returned to us due to incorrect customer details or failed delivery attempts, re-shipping may be subject to availability and additional conditions.

9. Failed Delivery Attempts

Courier partners usually attempt delivery as per their internal delivery process. If the customer is unavailable or unreachable, the shipment may be returned to VELVET STUDIO.

In such cases, VELVET STUDIO will not be responsible for any delay, return-to-origin movement, or non-delivery caused by customer unavailability or incorrect details.

10. Damaged, Wrong, or Missing Product

If you receive a damaged product, wrong product, or incomplete order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

You must share the following details:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Registered phone number
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of the outer packaging
  • Unboxing video, where applicable
  • Description of the issue

Requests raised after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted.

If the issue is verified and the error is from VELVET STUDIO’s side, we will assist you as per our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.

11. Product Colour & Display Difference

We make every effort to display product colours and details as accurately as possible. However, product colours may slightly vary due to photography lighting, editing, screen settings, mobile display differences, and device resolution.

Such minor colour variation will not be treated as a shipping or delivery defect.

12. Order Cancellation After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
